SnowSorted

You pay us. We hold it. The seller gets paid when you’re happy.

Payment protection on every order — buying second-hand gear from a stranger shouldn’t feel like a gamble.

  1. Step 1 of 4: You pay SnowSorted, not a stranger

Your money is protected from the moment you pay. The seller sees the order, not your card.

  2. Step 2 of 4: The seller ships (or you pick up)

Shipped orders are tracked door to door. Pickup orders release the protected payment the moment you scan the seller’s handover code — gear in hand.

  3. Step 3 of 4: You inspect it

When your gear arrives you get an inspection window to check it against its condition grading. All good? Release the payment early, or just let the window close.

  4. Step 4 of 4: The seller gets paid

Only after delivery and your inspection window — or instantly at pickup handover. If something’s wrong, the payment stays protected while we sort it out.

If something goes wrong

Report a problem during your inspection window and the payment stays protected while we review — first response within 48 hours. Courier-damaged gear on a SnowSorted shipping label is covered by our Shipping Guarantee: you’re refunded in full, and a seller who did everything right is still paid in full.

Why the gear is trustworthy in the first place

A listing can’t go live without a guided photo scan and an AI condition grade — six photos, per-dimension scores, and a fair-value estimate. Bindings are checked against the manufacturer indemnity list before anything with bindings can be sold.

AI assessment from photos — not a warranty.
